Breaking the Cycles of Despair: A Call to Action from CRR Network

Breaking the Cycles of Despair: A Call to Action from CRR Network

Restoring Hope, Dignity, and Opportunity

I am Ujunwa Princess Udeani, Founder and President of Children Rescue and Rehabilitation Network, Inc. (CRR Network), a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 2017. Our mission is clear: To restore hope, dignity, and opportunity for women, children, and families trapped in cycles of despair.

The Reality We Face

We serve families living in extreme poverty in rural areas of Nigeria. Many survive by picking kernels from bushes; children go to bed hungry, and mothers skip meals so their little ones can eat. Families live in mud huts without clean water, safe shelter, or hope of survival. Each week, we provide food baskets to 20 of these families—but our goal is to reach 1,000 families with food, clean water, shelter, and education.

Our Impact by the Numbers

  • 100 young women currently enrolled in our empowerment programs
  • 10 graduates who have successfully launched their own businesses
  • 20 families receiving weekly food assistance
  • 1,000 families — our ambitious goal to reach with comprehensive support

Who We Serve

Every day, we encounter young women between the ages of 14 and 25 in Nigeria. Many are trapped in prostitution, victims of sex trafficking, exposed to HIV, and some already mothers at just 14. At CRR Network, we are removing them from the streets and equipping them with talent-based training of their choice: dressmaking, skincare, interior decoration, farming, IT, and more.

Our Urgent Needs

Women's Empowerment Initiative

Current Status: 100 women in training (90 in their final 60 days)
Urgent Need: $1.5 million to clear training costs and provide start-up resources (equipment, seed capital, rental support)
Impact: Graduates will step directly into self-sufficiency, and we can begin training 1,000 new women immediately

Food Drive and Family Upliftment

Current Status: Currently feeding 20 families weekly
Urgent Need: $5 million to expand to 1,000 families with food, clean water wells, safe shelter, and education sponsorships

We understand the trust that comes with your generosity. That's why we offer:

  • Donor-appointed liaisons to monitor projects on the ground
